වදුරු රාජධානිය තුල විසූ කෙටි රන්වන් කෙසින් යුත් බුද්ධිමත් ,පරිනත "මායා" නම් වානරියට ජීවිතය සැම විටම විකක්‍රමාන්විතයක් විය.ඩිස්නි නේචර් හි නවතම වෘතාන්තමය චිත්‍රපටය දකුණු ආසියාවේ සුන්දරම රට වන ලංකාවේ ඓතිහාසික වනයක් තුලට පා තබමින් එම ජීවිතය සොයා යයි.

මායා ඇයගේ සංකීර්ණ , විශාල පවුලට තම පුත් "කීප්" එකතු කලාගත් විට අයගේ ජිවිතය සදහටම වෙනස් විය. මයාගේ වර්ණවත් පෞර්ෂය සමග ඇය තමන්ගේ පුත්‍රයාට ලොව තුල අන්‍යන්ට වඩා තැනක් සාදා දීමට උත්සුක විය.මායාගේ සනුහරය විසූ වාසස්ථානය බලවත් ආගන්තුක වානර කණ්ඩායමක් අත්කර ගත් පසු මායාගේ කණ්ඩායමට පලා යාමට සිදුවූ අතර ,
වෙනස්වන කලබලකාරී පරිසරයක් අතර තම බුද්දිමත් බව හා තීක්ෂණ නුවන යොදා ගනිමින් නව සම්පත් සොයා යාමට ඇය සමත් විය. කෙසේ උවත් ඔවුනට තම පැරණි වාසස්ථානය ලබා ගැනීම සදහා මහන්සි වී වැඩ කිරීමට සිදු වන අතර තම දරුවාට යහපත් අනාගතයක් උදා කිරීමට එය අත්‍යවශ්‍ය බව මායා දනියි.

Life is an adventure for Maya, the clever and resourceful blonde-bobbed monkey in “Monkey Kingdom,” Disneynature’s new feature film set among ancient ruins in the storied jungles of South Asia.
